Professional Journey:
Motivated by the 2008 financial crisis, Rich pursued a degree in Business Management/Administration with a focus on economics at Assumption College, Massachusetts. His academic journey, coupled with his discipline as an NCAA Division II Men’s Tennis team member, laid a solid foundation for his career.
Drawn by economic opportunities, Rich relocated to Charlotte, NC in 2014, excelling at a Fortune 100 company where his strategic insights set him apart. This experience solidified his expertise in wealth management and client-focused financial solutions.
In 2020, Rich joined Advanced Wealth Strategies, transitioning to an independent model to better meet clients' evolving needs with personalized solutions. His exposure to private equity and venture capital enriches the strategies he offers, adding significant value to his clients.
Rich holds an MBA with honors in Applied Investment Management from UNC Belk College of Business, equipping him with sophisticated investment strategies and market insights.
Community & Personal Life:
Rich's strong work ethic is deeply rooted in the values instilled by his immigrant parents, who taught him the value of a dollar from a young age. This upbringing has been pivotal in shaping his approach to financial advising.
He is actively involved in his community, serving in leadership roles such as VP of Philanthropy and President of the Lake Norman Young Professionals, VP of Uptown Charlotte Kiwanis, and as founder and chairman of the nonprofit Queen City League.
In his personal time, Rich enjoys spending time with his family, especially his nephew, Landon, in addition to hiking, exploring coastal cities, fishing, playing tennis, and quality time with his tuxedo cat, Maximus. He is also currently pursuing his Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) accreditation. Residing in the SouthPark community of Charlotte, he embodies a blend of professional expertise, community involvement, and personal passion, making a significant impact both locally and in his field.
